Replacing the passenger side mirror on a 2009 Ford Ka II

  1.
Following an impact on the rearview mirror, a piece of the black plastic part broke, the part not being removable, the complete rearview mirror must be replaced.

However, my vehicle is equipped with body-colored mirror shells, so I am recovering my shell to place it on the new mirror.

The new rearview mirror ( VAN WEZEL - 1873818 ) comes with the ice and the outer shell in a layer after which it must be repainted in the desired color. (In my situation I will take my shell and place it on the new mirror)

Remove the cover to access the 3 fixing screws

I use two plastic trim removers so as not to damage the cover.

I would like to know how to remove the cover. I tried to remove it but the piece of white plastic remained in its location in the bodywork and I cannot clip the cover.
