Introduction

This tutorial will teach you how to easily change the entire tail light assembly, the different light bulbs (brake, indicator, reverse and position), or even the plates.

Step 1 Change the rear light block, plate or bulbs

This tutorial will be done on the left light, but the process is the same for the right light.

To begin, open the trunk. Locate the black screw located inside in the corner.

Step 2

Simply unscrew the screw counterclockwise.

The block is thus separated from the passenger compartment.

Disconnect the plug by pressing the movable part, and pull the plug at the same time.

The plate is clipped with 4 plastic clips.

Unclip each fastener by pulling the red part outwards, then lift the plate.

If you only want to change the fire block, you just have to reconnect the board to the new block and go to the end of this tutorial!

The board and its bulbs are now detached. To change the bulbs, use a cloth to avoid getting them dirty.

The order of the bulbs from top to bottom is as follows:

Flashing
Reversing light
Position light
Turn the bulb a quarter turn and pull it gently towards you.
If you want to change the board only, unscrew all the bulbs, keeping their function and put them on the new board.

Replace the plate in the block, paying attention to the bulbs.

Reconnect the plug and screw the screw back into the trunk, making sure the block holds securely!
