Introduction

Vehicle engine 1.4 HDi 70 hp

An intake air temperature sensor is a critical component of an engine, ensuring that the vehicle starts smoothly, and that the fuel-to-air ratio is maintained at the proper level, for efficient fuel combustion when the engine is cold.

  1. The symptom of sensor failure in this case is rough idling when the engine is cold. Remove the engine cover by pulling it upwards. The sensor is located on the air line after the air resonator. Near the oil filler cap.
