Change the air mass flow meter on Seat Ibiza IV

Open the hood and locate the flow meter, it is located next to the air box, top right in the engine compartment.

We remove the hose from the air box. We must compress the collar (rely on the arrows) using multi-grip pliers and while compressing it we unclip the hose

Remove the air box mounting screws

Remove the small pipe using a flat screwdriver

Disconnect the flow meter connector by pressing the small tab at the bottom of the plug then pull downwards. Use a small flat screwdriver if it does not come out.

Then remove the 2 cross-head screws that hold the flow meter to the air box cover.

Once the 2 screws are removed, pull to release the flow meter from the air box cover.

Check that the new part matches yours then reassemble in the reverse order.
