To be able to remove your wheel:

- Use a cross or look in your trunk by removing the carpet, you will find a key there intended to loosen your 5 nuts, without removing them completely.

- Use a jack to raise the front of your vehicle.

    • Remember to secure your vehicle by using candles or others.

    • You can completely remove your nuts and then remove the wheel.

    • Now you can see the stabilizer bar link.

You can completely remove the top nut that holds the stabilizer bar link using a 17 flat wrench and a screwdriver with a 30 BTR bit.

The flat wrench will be used to unscrew the nuts while the screwdriver with the BTR 30 bit will be used to hold the screw thread in an anti-clockwise direction so that it does not turn in a vacuum.

Remember to apply some penetrating oil to make it easier to unscrew the nuts and remove the connecting rod in the future.
    • You can completely remove the top nut that holds the stabilizer bar link using a 17 flat wrench and a screwdriver with a 30 BTR bit.

    • The flat wrench will be used to unscrew the nuts while the screwdriver with the BTR 30 bit will be used to hold the screw thread in an anti-clockwise direction so that it does not turn in a vacuum.

    • Remember to apply some penetrating oil to make it easier to unscrew the nuts and remove the connecting rod in the future.

    • When the nut is completely removed from the thread, tap the thread hard enough to remove the thread from the bracket to release the connecting rod.

When the nut is completely removed from the thread, tap the thread hard enough to remove the thread from the bracket to release the connecting rod.
    • You can remove the nut from the bottom of the stabilizer bar link using a 17 flat wrench and a screwdriver with a 30 BTR bit.

    • The flat wrench will be used to unscrew the nuts while the screwdriver with the BTR 30 bit will be used to hold the screw thread in an anti-clockwise direction so that it does not turn in a vacuum.

    • When the nut is completely removed from the thread, tap the thread hard enough to remove the thread from the bracket to release the connecting rod.

    • Use a long rod to leverage the stabilizer bar and the suspension wishbone to make it easier to remove the link and therefore have better access to remove it.

You will now compare the old, as well as the new stabilizer bar link (dimensions etc...)

Now you can put the new connecting rod in its housing in the correct direction, using the long rod to press on the stabilizer bar and the suspension triangle to make the task easier.

You can screw the 2 nuts that hold it using the 17 flat wrench and locking the screw thread using the screwdriver with the BTR 30 bit.
    • You will now compare the old, as well as the new stabilizer bar link (dimensions etc...)

    • Now you can put the new connecting rod in its housing in the correct direction, using the long rod to press on the stabilizer bar and the suspension triangle to make the task easier.

    • You can screw the 2 nuts that hold it using the 17 flat wrench and locking the screw thread using the screwdriver with the BTR 30 bit.

    • The task is now complete, you can safely put your wheel back on.

    • It is advisable to change the stabilizer bar links on each side.
