Using a flat chisel and a hammer, remove the hub cover.

Without damaging it too much if you don't have any other new caches

Using a striking tool, remove the brake from the nut by tapping on it

Loosen the nut with a 32 socket and a telescopic wrench

Tap the drum with a hammer to unlock it

Retrieve the washer that was behind the nut

Using the multigrip pliers, remove the head of the rivet by pressing on the spring and rotating it

Press the rivet on the other side of the drum
-

-
Press and turn the pliers to remove the rivet head
-
Retrieve the rivet

The handbrake cable is held on the shoes
-
Using the multi-grip pliers, pull on the end of the cable while removing it from the jaws.

Spray brake cleaner on the flange
-
Using a pipe wrench, loosen the brake pipe
-
-
-
Using a 10 socket wrench, remove the master cylinder screw.
-
Recover the master cylinder
-
-
-
Apply brake fluid cleaner to the entire front surface of the flange to remove brake fluid.
-
Clean the rocket
-
-
-
Install the new master cylinder in its location
-
Replace the brake cable on the other side of the flange
-
-
-
Replace the screw and tighten it with the 10 socket wrench.
-
Tighten the brake cable with the pipe wrench
-
-
-
Apply grease to the flask and spread it with your finger
-
Clean the inside of the drum with brake cleaner
-
-
-
Sand the inside of the drum with sandpaper.
-
Connect the bleeder can to the dedicated location behind the flange, just above the brake cable
-

-
Compare the general appearance and dimensions of the new jaws with the old ones
-
We notice a difference in the thickness of the filling
-

-
Pull the handbrake cable spring with wire cutters
-
Replace the handbrake cable into the hook on the shoes
-
-
-
Place the rivet in the hole

Place the spring
-
Place the washer and lock it by turning using multi-grip pliers.

-
Leverage with the flat screwdriver to place the other part of the jaws in the notch at the bottom
-
Place the upper part
-
-
-
Place the rivet in the hole
-
Place the spring on the rivet
-
Place the washer on the spring, turn it and lock it with the multigrip pliers
-

-
Sand the brake pads
-
Apply grease to the rocket
-
Apply grease to the drum bearing
-
-
-
Tighten the nut using the 32 socket and the telescopic wrench
-
Roll the drum to check if the nut is too tight
-
-
-
It is advisable to perform a brake bleed after changing the rear drum brakes.
