Remove the cap from the expansion tank and fill the jar to the brim.

Open both bleeder screws, close them once the liquid comes out correctly without air bubbles

The level in the jar will drop, check each time that it does not drop below the MINI

Start the vehicle

Set the heating and ventilation to the maximum position

Let the vehicle warm up, the "normal" temperature on my vehicle is 90 degrees, the fan comes on at 100 degrees

I accelerate slightly in order to increase the temperature of the coolant and thus trigger my fan.

Once the MAXIMUM temperature is reached, I repeat a hot purge, in order to evacuate the remaining air.

Don't forget to check the level of the expansion tank

    • Turn off the engine, then top up the level when cold.
