To begin, remove the engine guard by removing the 7 screws

Remove the 2 staples by pulling gently but firmly.

Using a filter wrench (preferably a claw wrench), remove the filter

Remember to have a basin to collect the oil from the filter.

Check that the new filter is identical to the old one

Put a little new oil with your finger on the filter seal then screw it back in, first by hand then lightly with the filter wrench

Do not overtighten the new filter
