Introduction

Work carried out on a Renault Twingo 2 phase 2, 1.5 dCi 75hp engine.

This is a car that I bought second-hand, I have neither a user manual nor a technical guide, so I don't know the capacities or the tightening torques.

Remember to fill up with diesel before starting this operation, priming will be easier.

  1. 
Open the hood.

Using a 10mm wrench remove the nut.

Use a small flathead screwdriver to remove the gasket.

Replace it with the new gasket supplied with the filter.

Remove the cap and place the heater on the filtered nine.

Replace the filter in its housing then reconnect the hoses and the connector.

It is imperative to purge the air from the filter.

    • Unscrew the bleed screw one turn then press the primer bulb several times.

    • Fuel will leak.

    • Squeeze the pump until all the air has been released and then screw the cap back on.
