Introduction
diesel filter 5008 phase 2 1.6 e-HDi 120 hp

Replacing the fuel filter, top left of the engine (remove the front engine cover)

Disconnect the diesel pipes by pressing the white button

Disconnect the electrical connectors using a screwdriver, push the orange tab, the other one comes off without a tab.

Remove the diesel filter support, if necessary block the pipes

Clamped the bracket in a vice, then loosened the cap using a 24 socket.

Be careful when loosening not to break the fixing lug with the screw which seems fragile.

Remove the filter then put in the new one, also replace the seal

Tighten the filter holder cover until it stops (blue arrow) using the 24 socket / pay attention to the tab and the screw when tightening

Reconnected the two pipes then the two electrical connectors (the one with the lock, don't forget to push the orange tab).

To re-prime the diesel circuit and the filter, it may be necessary to use a diesel priming pump not fitted on the 1.6 e-HDi 120 hp series.
