Remove the 2 screw covers using a small flat head screwdriver.

Unscrew the 4 screws located at the 4 corners of the door panel using the ratchet equipped with a short extension, a bit holder and a bit. Torx T 20

    • Unscrew the 2 screws located in the handle using the ratchet equipped with a long extension, a bit holder and a bit Torx T30

Unclip the door panel by levering around the entire perimeter with a plastic trim removal tool.

When releasing the door panel, dislodge the door lock button from its location.

Once the door panel is removed, unhook the opening control cable by levering it with a medium-sized flat-head screwdriver.

    • Disconnect the electrical plugs.

Remove the insulation on the lower part in order to access the door wedge from the inside of the door.
    • Remove the insulation on the lower part in order to access the door wedge from the inside of the door.

    • Peel off the insulation above the speaker to access one of the screws holding the door wedge.

    • Unplug the speaker power cable to make it easier to access.

Unscrew the screw that holds the door wedge in the vehicle pillar using the ratchet equipped with a long extension, a bit holder and a bit. Torx T40

Unscrew the 2 screws identified by the arrows located inside the door using the ratchet equipped with a bit holder and a bit Torx T30

Unscrew the screw behind the door insulation using a ratchet or a screwdriver with a bit holder fitted with a bit. Torx T20 while holding the door wedge through the opening above the screw.
    • Unscrew the screw that holds the door wedge in the vehicle pillar using the ratchet equipped with a long extension, a bit holder and a bit. Torx T40

    • Unscrew the 2 screws identified by the arrows located inside the door using the ratchet equipped with a bit holder and a bit Torx T30

    • Unscrew the screw behind the door insulation using a ratchet or a screwdriver with a bit holder fitted with a bit. Torx T20 while holding the door wedge through the opening above the screw.

    • Remove the door wedge from the bottom of the door by passing your arm inside the door.

Before installing the new part, compare it to the old one to make sure they are identical.

Insert the new door wedge into its location through the bottom of the door.

Install the screw behind the door insulation using a ratchet or a screwdriver with a bit holder fitted with a bit. Torx T20 while holding the door wedge through the opening above the screw.

    • Do not tighten the screw until the other retaining screws have been installed.

    • Screw in the 2 screws identified by the arrows located inside the door using the ratchet equipped with a bit holder and a bit. Torx T30

    • Screw the screw that holds the door wedge into the vehicle pillar using the ratchet equipped with a long extension, a bit holder and a bit. Torx T40

    • Tighten all screws. If you have a torque wrench, the following are the tightening torques: Torx 40 screws = 16 Nm Torx 20 & 30 screws = 30 Nm.

    • Check that the new part is working properly before moving on to the next step.

Re-attach the previously removed insulation

Replace the opening control cable in its housing.

No tools are required, just press with your fingers.

    • Reconnect the electrical plugs x 3 at the controls (windows and mirrors) + 1 plug at the speaker.

    • Test all electrical functions connected to these plugs before closing the door panel

    • Clip the door panel after having correctly repositioned it.

    • Screw in the 4 screws located at the 4 corners of the door panel using the ratchet equipped with a short extension, a bit holder and a bit. Torx T 20

    • Screw in the 2 screws located in the handle using the ratchet equipped with a long extension, a bit holder and a bit. Torx T30.

  10. 
Replace the plastic cover of the handle.
    • Replace the plastic cover of the handle.

    • Replace the storage bin.

    • Check the correct function of the assembly
