Place a container under the lower hose to collect the liquid and disconnect it

Also disconnect the upper hose and the probe

Also disconnect the coolant reservoir inlet hose.

Unplug the fan
    • Also disconnect the coolant reservoir inlet hose.

    • Unplug the fan

Unscrew the two fixing nuts

Location without the radiator
    • Location without the radiator

Check the compatibility of the new radiator

Retrieve the temperature sensor from the old radiator and mount it on the new one
    • Check the compatibility of the new radiator

    • Retrieve the temperature sensor from the old radiator and mount it on the new one

Also recover the fan (unscrew the 2 nuts then slide it down) and reassemble it on the new radiator

Reassemble the new radiator (in the reverse order of removal) by reconnecting the 3 hoses, reconnecting the sensor and the fan)

Unscrew the coolant reservoir cap and fill the system

Start the engine (and the cabin heater) and check the level, wait for the fan to come on two or three times and check that there are no more air bubbles in the return circuit
    • Reassemble the new radiator (in the reverse order of removal) by reconnecting the 3 hoses, reconnecting the sensor and the fan)

    • Unscrew the coolant reservoir cap and fill the system

    • Start the engine (and the cabin heater) and check the level, wait for the fan to come on two or three times and check that there are no more air bubbles in the return circuit

I took the radiator apart and ran it without it for 30 seconds and it stopped and wouldn't start anymore because I had a problem with the fan what could it be?
