Location of the cabin filter in the vehicle
-
It is located behind a plastic cover under the glove box on the passenger side.

Plastic cache location

-
First remove the floor mat
-
Then fold the vehicle carpet back (this is a necessary step to be able to remove the plastic cover later).
-
-
-
Unscrew the 3 Torx T25 screws on the cover.
-
Once the 3 screws are removed, the plastic cover should come off by itself.
-
You will then need to disconnect the bulb.
-
-
-
Unplug by pressing the small black tab.
-
Pull the connector back.
-
The plastic cover is now completely detached from the vehicle. (put it as far away as possible in the meantime).
-
-
-
Slide the white tab to the left until it "clicks".
-
Here we see that the white tab is no longer opposite the black mark, we can now remove the used filter.
-
Sometimes you also have to remove 2 metal tabs on each side.
-
-
-
Pull the filter down.
-
Comparison of used filter (right) and new filter (Here we are talking about 2 activated carbon filters).
-
A single assembly direction (you can't make a mistake).
-
If the filter is difficult to clip in, remember to use the white tab from the used one to put it on the new one.
-
Follow the steps in reverse order for reassembly.
