Introduction
This tutorial explains how to replace the air filter on Peugeot Expert I 1995-2003 1.6i Petrol. Very simple to do and in just a few minutes.

The air filter is located in the air box located in the engine compartment next to the battery.

The air box is opened by tilting 5 hooks and therefore does not require any tools.

Locate the 5 hooks holding the air box cover in place.

Lift the plastic lever of the cover retaining hook.

Disengage the metal hook.

Do the same for the other 4 hooks.

Lift the air box enough to be able to easily remove the filter.

While holding the air box raised, remove the air filter.

Check that the new filter matches the length, width and thickness.

Clean the inside of the air box using a blower or vacuum cleaner.

Place the new filter inside the air box, making sure to position it correctly.

Replace the air box cover and close the 5 retaining hooks.
