Introduction

Here's how to replace an air filter on a Peugeot 106 1.0 i 50cv

  1. Open the hood under the steering wheel to access the engine compartment. Locate the filter

  2. Unscrew the clamps with un tournevis plat 1 collar on the carburetor on the left 1 collar on the carburetor on the left

  3. Remove the 2 air intake tubes on the right side of the manifold

    • Remove the 2 air intake tubes on the right side of the manifold

  4. Lift the collector on each side Rotate the manifold to access the air filter

  5. Remove the 2 clips by pulling them upwards and outwards Turn the entire filter assembly slightly clockwise to remove it from the tabs Pull the air filter cover upwards and remove the filter

    • Pull the air filter cover upwards and remove the filter

    • Clean the air filter box

  6. Check the correspondence between the old and le nouveau filtre à air

  7. Check that the seal is not left on the air box Insert the new gasket into the groove of the new filter Use a flathead screwdriver to place the gasket into the bottom of the groove

  8. Reassemble the filter in the air box by aligning the lugs

    • Put the 2 clips back
