Introduction

This tutorial helps you change your air filter on Audi A1.

  1. 
Open the hood

Locate the air box
    • Open the hood

    • Locate the air box

  2. 
Disconnect the flow meter connector

Using the pliers, remove the air hose clamp.

Then disconnect the pipe
    • Disconnect the flow meter connector

    • Using the pliers, remove the air hose clamp.

    • Then disconnect the pipe

  3. 
Unscrew the 6 T20 torx screws

Remove the air box by pulling upwards
    • Unscrew the 6 T20 torx screws

    • Remove the air box by pulling upwards

  4. 
Turn the filter a quarter turn counterclockwise.

Then pull the filter down
    • Turn the filter a quarter turn counterclockwise.

    • Then pull the filter down

  5. 
Check the correspondence between the old and le nouveau filtre à air
  6. 
Insert the new filter

Then make a quarter turn in a clockwise direction.
    • Insert the new filter

    • Then make a quarter turn in a clockwise direction.

  7. 
Remove all impurities present in the air box

Aim the 6 T20 screws
    • Remove all impurities present in the air box

    • Aim the 6 T20 screws

  8. 
Reconnect the air hose

Replace the clamp

Reconnect the flow meter sensor
    • Reconnect the air hose

    • Replace the clamp

    • Reconnect the flow meter sensor
