Raise the front right side using a rolling jack, then place 1 or 2 axle stands, remove the wheel and place it under the car for even greater safety.

Unscrew the 8 screws holding the cover under the engine (10 socket wrench)
-
Once all the screws are removed, remove the cover under the engine
-
The fixing screw is now accessible from below (under the car)
-
-
-
Loosen the screw using a ratchet with a 16 mm hex socket. If necessary, hold the nut on the opposite side using a 16 mm socket wrench.
-
Remove this screw and retrieve the nut which is behind the support
-
-
-
Unscrew the nut using a 10 mm socket wrench or a 10 mm socket + ratchet.

Start by comparing the new belt with the old one.
-
Check that the roller is rotating properly and coat the bearing seal with engine oil while rotating the roller. If you feel any defect in the bearing, then the entire roller should be replaced.
-
-
-
Fit the new belt with its "captive" tensioner roller. Push the roller support using a lever (e.g.: 30 mm x 30 mm x 1 m strip). Tighten the nut by 10 mm while maintaining this pressure.

-
Check that it is working properly by running the engine. If everything is OK, reassemble the under-engine plate, replace the wheel, remove the jack stands and lower the car. That's it!
-
The difficulty of replacement is due to the design of the tensioner which traps the belt between its 2 fixings. This arrangement requires the tensioner to be removed!
