Guide to replacing a H7 type front right dipped beam headlight bulb on Peugeot 607 phase 1 (2001 - 2004)

  1. 
check that your lights are off

Turn the screws 1/2 turn to release them

Use a screwdriver to lever the plastic clips.

Unscrew the plastic clip 1/2 turn to release it

Remove the side plastic cover. Be careful not to lose the screws.

Lift the fuse box cover to unclip it

Unscrew the cap behind the headlight lens by 1/4 turn.

Pull the connector to disconnect it

Unclip the bulb retaining clip by pushing and move it to the right to release the bulb retainer. Rotate the clip downwards

Compare the new bulb with the used one

Do not touch the glass of halogen bulbs, this degrades their quality

Insert the new bulb into the optical unit

Reconnect the connector

Replace the plastic cover of the fuse box. Clip the 2 notches (one on the left and one on the right)

Tighten the 2 screws 1/2 turn

Test the operation of your dipped headlights

It's the left headlight, not the right one.

It may be necessary to specify to orient the bulb with the flat part + nipple upwards when installing it.
