Introduction
The model presented is a Peugeot 607 2.2 HDi 16V 136cv

Prepare a container of at least 5L for collecting used oil. Place it under the oil pan.

Using an Allen key, unscrew le bouchon de vidange which is located behind the bottom right of the oil pan.

Allow the oil to drain completely.

Using a filter wrench, unscrew the oil filter (it is located at the bottom right of the alternator)

Oil the gasket of the new filter with your finger.

To go up le nouveau filtre by squeezing it firmly by hand

Replace le joint du bouchon de vidange by a new one.

Screw the drain plug onto the oil pan

Place a funnel in the filling hole

Pour 4.8Ld'huile 5W30 according to the manufacturer's recommendation available in your maintenance booklet (removal of the gray plastic cover is not necessary)''

Close the filler cap

The 607 is equipped with an electronic oil level gauge, it indicates it for 5 seconds on the dashboard when the ignition is switched on. (the needle must be in the orange part)

There is also a classic gauge on the engine

The oil level is checked with the engine cold and all 4 wheels on flat ground.
