Introduction
I explain to you how to drain and change the oil filter on a Toyota Verso 1.6 VVT-i 132 16V
-
-
Raise the car using the hydraulic jack on the right side, and place a jack stand to secure your security.
-
Use a screwdriver to remove the "bitoniaux" holding the drain hatch.
-
The third "bitoniaux" is located near the stabilizer bar, by moving the hatch we notice the three pins to remove.
-
-
-
So that the drain hatch cover does not bother me, I attached a small tensioner that I hung under the front apron, there is no shortage of holes, see the tensioner attachment bridge in the second photo.
-
In this photo, we can clearly see the drain screw (14 ring spanner mounted on it), as well as the oil filter holder (blue arrow). Also where I attached the tensioner.
-
Unscrew the drain screw and let the oil flow into the drain pan that you did not forget to place underneath.
-
-
-
Place the strap wrench and unscrew the filter holder, don't forget the tray underneath.
-
Compare the 2 filters, no need to tell you which one is the old one.
-
The filter holder seal is 10 mm from the shoulder, it must be placed in the groove provided for this purpose, do not forget to oil the seal.
-
-
-
Once you have removed the drain plug and the filter holder, raise the car, remove the jack stand, and put the car back on level ground so that all the oil comes out of the engine, raise the vehicle and put the jack stand back on.
-
Replace the drain plug with a new gasket, tightening the drain screw moderately and clean the entire filter holder.
-
Clean the drain pan and the oil filter holder and tighten it until it stops. Replace the drain hatch.
-
-
-
Clean around the oil filler cap, put in 4.20 liters of 5W30 oil that meets the manufacturer's standards. Replace the filler cap, check the level. Replace the soundproofing cover on top of the engine.
-
Warm up the engine for 5 minutes and recheck the level. It must be acknowledged that reading the oil level is not easy.
-
Don't forget to collect the old oil and take it to the recycling center with the old filter.
-
-
-
-
Afterwards I check all my levels, and I change the air filter and the pollen filter, I know it's not planned, but it doesn't cost much more.

In any case, this filter does not need to be changed with every oil change (in any case, less often than air-oil-pollen)!
You're a good one, you change the diesel filter on a gasoline car.
and then the diesel filter?????
A COMPLETE OVERHAUL IS DONE WITH THE CHANGE OF THE DIESEL FILTER.
