Place a collection tray (approximately 5L) under the drain screw

Using a 10mm square wrench, unscrew the drain plug and allow the oil to drain.

    • The oil flows more easily if it is warm, run the engine a little before draining.

    • Clean the drain plug, and replace the copper gasket

    • Screw the cap back on and tighten it once all the oil has drained out.

Unscrew the oil filter

If you don't have a strap wrench, use a wooden block and a hammer, gently tap one of the hollows to "unstick" it.

    • Oil (with the new oil) the gasket of the new filter, then screw it back in by hand. Finish with a quarter turn with the strap wrench

    • If you don't have a wrench, screw it as tight as possible by hand, the filter should not be too tight

Unscrew the cap on the rocker cover and fill with new oil (15W40) you need about 3L (+0.25 for the filter)

Wait a little while after the oil has drained and check the level using the dipstick,

it must be between the minimum (yellow) and the maximum (red)

    • Close the cap, run the engine for a while (5-10 minutes), let it cool down and check the oil level and for leaks.

    • Used oil cannot be thrown away anywhere; containers are often available at recycling centers for it.
