Introduction

Warm up the engine before draining

  1. 
Open the hood

Remove the oil cap and dipstick

Remove the oil cap and dipstick
    • Open the hood

    • Remove the oil cap and dipstick

  2. 
Loosen the oil filter using the strap wrench

Remove the oil filter

Remove the oil filter
    • Loosen the oil filter using the strap wrench

    • Remove the oil filter

  3. 
Unscrew the drain plug using the 13 mm flat wrench.

Let the oil flow drop by drop

Let the oil flow drop by drop
    • Unscrew the drain plug using the 13 mm flat wrench.

    • Let the oil flow drop by drop

  4. 
Replace the cap seal
    • Replace the cap seal

  5. 
Replace the cap

Tighten it using the 12 flat wrench

Tighten it using the 12 flat wrench
    • Replace the cap

    • Tighten it using the 12 flat wrench

  6. 
Remove the oil filter cartridge by pulling on it

Remove the oil filter cartridge by pulling on it
    • Remove the oil filter cartridge by pulling on it

  7. 
Check that the two filters match

Install the new filter
    • Check that the two filters match

    • Install the new filter

    • Replace the seal

  8. 
Mount the filter

Tighten it using the strap wrench
    • Mount the filter

    • Tighten it using the strap wrench

  9. 
Pour the oil into the engine

Check the oil level

Replace the cap and oil dipstick
    • Pour the oil into the engine

    • Check the oil level

    • Replace the cap and oil dipstick

    • Start the engine to fill the oil filter

    • DO NOT EXCEED MAX LEVEL
