How to do an oil change on a Ford Fiesta VI 1.0 Ecoboost (SCTi)

Loosen the oil pan plug using a ratchet and a 13 socket.

Using a filter wrench, unscrew the oil filter.

Compare the dimensions between the new oil filter and the old one

Apply brake cleaner to the oil filter location, then dry with a rag

Replace the oil filter by hand in its location

Clean the drain plug location with a cloth.

Remove the engine oil cap and install a funnel

Pour about 4.5 liters of oil

Re-immerse the dipstick and check the level.

If the latter is correct, close the engine oil cap and re-insert the dipstick.

the filter of the one I made is not at all like the one in the tutorial.. (non-metallic filter)... so be careful ;-)
