Filler cap

Breathers

Normally you can remove the cap at this level but over time it sticks.

Remove the chute

Do not damage the breathers

Always start by removing the filler cap. I'll let you imagine the hassle if you drain the oil and then realize that you can't open the filler cap.

Remove the vent plug from your drain pan. If you don't do this when you drain the oil, it will enter the pan and the air will not be able to escape, which will slow down the entry of the oil and cause it to overflow.

Place your drain pan under the sump.

Be careful of the risk of burns if your oil is hot.

Remove the plug with a 13mm socket.

To avoid burning myself, I loosen the screw a few turns. bouchon de vidange with the 13 socket then I finish using a magnet.

Leave your drain pan in place

With the cloche KS TOOLS 150.9338R unscrew it a few turns filtre à huile MECAFILTER ELH4237 and let the oil drain.

When the oil no longer flows, unscrew the filter by hand.

For the filtre MECAFILTER ELH4237 I used the cloche KS TOOLS 150.9338R

For the filtre neuf VALEO 586023 I used the cloche KS TOOLS 150.9337

Fill the oil can cap with l'huile new.

Use this huile to oil the seal of the filtre nine.

Here is a tip I found on another Oscaro tutorial:

Pour the rest of thehuile new oil contained in your cap into the engine in order to remove the little bit of your old oil that remains.

Remove thehuile with a cloth

Hand tighten the filtre à huile nine.

The instructions are written on it:

Clean, oil the gasket, screw in by hand, tighten with the 3/4 turn tool, start, check for leaks.

Tighten the screw 3/4 turn. filtre with the cloche.

Clean the crankcase

Check that the seal is properly seated on the bouchon then screw it bouchon.

It takes 3.25L for the engine and 0.3L for the filter

Add a little lesshuile as recommended then replace the chute.

Run the engine so that thehuile circulates in the filtre.

Gauge

Check the level then top up.

The level must be between the 2 marks.

Check that there are no leaks, neither at the level of the bouchon de vidange nor under the filtre.
