Raise and wedge the front of the vehicle. To access the oil pan, it is necessary to remove the under-engine fairing. It is held in place by 9 1/4 turn screws. Turn the screws 1/4 turn and simply pull on them.

Unscrew the drain plug from the lower crankcase, using a 21 hex key.

Let the oil drain for as long as possible.

Place the cover on the engine, pulling on it to unclip it.

Then remove the air intake duct fixing screw, using a T27 Torx screwdriver.

Place a rag around the oil filter cover housing to collect any oil leakage.

Using a 27 socket, unscrew the cover

Allow the cartridge-lid assembly to drain and then remove it.

Remove the cartridge from the cover by pulling on it.

Replace the cover O-ring and lightly lubricate the seal and threads.

Compare the dimensions between the new oil filter and the old one

Replace the new cartridge, making sure to insert its nipple into the hole provided for this purpose at the bottom of the housing.

Replace the cover, screw back on and tighten the cover, tightening torque 25 Nm

Top up with the oil recommended by Citroën, 3.75 L of 10w40 diesel oil.

Run the engine for 1 minute. Wait 10 minutes and check the level on the gauge, between min and max. Adjust accordingly.

Reinstall the air duct and the upper and lower fairings
-
Take the used oil and filter to a recycling center.
