Introduction

Tutorial for performing an oil change and changing the FH on a Yaris 3 1.0 VVTi 69 hp

Loosen the drain plug with the 14 mm wrench, don't forget to put a pan underneath.

Using the 65mm shell tool with 14 FH sides and a 3/8 square, remove the old filter.

Remove the jack and the axle stand to level the vehicle.

While the old oil is draining, prepare your oil filter and cap by putting a new gasket on it.

Put the car back on  candle always for your safety.

Clean the oil filter holder.

Add 3.1 liters of engine oil recommended by the manufacturer. Warm up the engine for 5 min.

While the engine is warming up, empty your old oil into a container that you will take to the recycling center with the old filter.

Turn off the ignition, put your equipment away, and check the oil level. The correct oil level should be just below the maximum.

    • Be careful not to exceed the maximum level!
