For my part I have version 2 and the filter is very accessible with the axial key (3 fingers) after removing the 13 screws of the plate under the engine. On the other hand pay attention to the drain the engine housing is made of plastic as well as the quarter-turn cap. This cap is locked by a pin, but when you unscrew it, you risk a shower because it goes away all at once ! The cork slips out of your hands and falls into the funnel and blocks it! Preferably take a bowl for about 6 liters… or hold the cork with pliers. Don't forget to put the pin back in!

I cut a 27 key so that it would fit.

Hello

I remove the filter before replacing the drain plug because

after changing the filter with this procedure (before putting the oil back)

if you take the drain plug back on you have almost 1 liter

Good morning,

Very good, perfectly clear tutorial for an oil change on a 3008.

However, disassembly using the filter remover type photo above…….puuuufff and very very difficult!!

I strongly recommend equipping yourself with a 27mm oil filter ratchet wrench (or not).

This is a suitable tool, and will preserve your oil filter housing cover.

@Karl, it is possible, without certainty, that it is like on the 165hp hybrid4, an “old” metal oil filter not placed idem.

Others will be able to help you better than me, but either you have this plastic bell, or an old-fashioned filter but you have to find it.
