Introduction
This tutorial explains how to perform an oil change on a Peugeot 206 1.4 i 16 V 90cv
-
-
-
Be careful, you must try to keep the car as straight as possible to drain as much oil as possible.
-
-
-
Put a bin under the drain plug to recover used oil.
-
Remove the drain plug. 24 wrench or 6 square drain wrench
-
-
-
Remove the oil filter by unscrewing the bell with a 27 socket.
-
Replace the old filter with a new oil filter
-
Also replace the bell gasket.
-
When reassembling, tighten the bell moderately (the torque value is indicated on it: 25Nm).
-
-
-
Check the level with the gauge.
-
Remove the gauge. And clean it with a cloth.
-
At the top of the gauge, maximum level.
-
At the bottom of the minimum level gauge.
-
Make sure you are between the 2 levels, more on the maximum level side.
-
This step should be done on flat ground.
-
FYI, there are 1.2 liters between the minimum and maximum of the gauge.

Good morning,
on my 206 1.4i it is a screwed oil filter and not a cartridge, the one used in this tutorial is indeed a 1.4i, and not another variant?
Hello, The cartridges are on the more recent models (206+ among others)
Why buy sockets when you don't mention them in the story?
Hello, the 27 socket is used to unscrew then screw the oil filter bell back on.
Hello, when I was changing my oil I held the black cover with one hand and the other hand the oil filter I pulled on it and there I saw that there is a spring and a connection between the filter and the spring which is attached to the filter normally when you pull on the filter it comes off by itself.. this time Nn and I tried to remove the metal part which is connected to the oil filter and there I broke a plastic part.. I know if it is possible to find this part
