We can see the filter, there are 2 pipes clipped onto the filter (1 which comes from the tank and another which sends the gasoline to the engine
-
You will need to press on the white part of the terminal to unlock it then pull on it to release the pipe
-
-
I use needle-nose pliers to insert the clips and pull on the terminal at the same time to unhook the pipe.
-
Place a container underneath as gasoline will leak out.
-
I do the same for the other side.
-
-
I let the fuel flow ( the fuel that flows is the one that is in the filter and the lines)
-
Spread the two tabs holding the filter apart so that you can remove it from its housing.
-
Compare the old filter with the new one, then proceed in reverse order
-
-
Put the filter back in place
-
Pay attention to the assembly direction
-
Reconnect the pipes to the filter
-
You will hear a "CLICK" when the locking system is engaged
-
Turn on the ignition, the fuel pump will run a little longer ('4-5 seconds) in order to restart the circuit
