Raise the front of the car by using ramps or a jack.
-
To work safely with the ramps, remember to tighten the handbrake and put it in first gear. Use axle stands with the jack.
-
Open the hood.

-
Insert the square key into the drain plug, but before unscrewing it completely, remember to place a container to collect the used oil. Once the container is in place, remove the plug.
-
Unscrew the oil filler cap for better drainage of used oil.
-
Once the oil has finished draining, wipe the oil pan well then change the drain plug gasket and put it back in place.

-
Locate the oil filter and unscrew it.
-
Compare the old and le nouveau filtre à huile
-
Before screwing the new filter back on, you can put a drizzle of oil on the seal to make tightening easier.
-
-
-
After changing the oil filter and screwing the drain plug with its new gasket back on, you can fill the engine with new oil (10w40 approximately 4.5 liters). Then close the oil filler cap.
-
After driving a few kilometers, check the oil level. To do this, pull the hook on the oil dipstick located right next to the oil filter, wipe the oil dipstick and then push it back into its location.
-
Pull out the dipstick a second time, then check if the oil level is between the minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick. Top up the oil if necessary.
