Using a jack and a candle, lift the car and secure it with a candle.

Using a 10 ratchet, remove the 10 nuts from the engine cover so that it can be removed.

Once the cover has been removed, place a protective layer on the ground such as cardboard or a tarpaulin.

take a basin to collect the oil.

equip yourself: gloves, light.

left arrow drain plug diameter 19 and right arrow oil filter.

To loosen the drain plug using a 19 socket and a click or a 19 socket wrench.

Remove the cap completely and the oil will flow out immediately, so remember to position your basin carefully.

To remove the oil filter use a filter wrench turn it counterclockwise.

To drain the entire oil circuit, remove the filler cap on the engine and remove the jack to put the car flat.

While the draining is finished you can prepare the new filter

Clean the dust from the seal with a clean, dry cloth then oil the seal using your finger.

-
Replacer the new oil filter by screwing it by hand and not using the key.
-
Tighten fully then 3/4 turn.
-
Clean around thoroughly to detect any possible traces of leaks.

Replace the copper or aluminum seal on your cap and place everything back on the engine.

Check one last time that the drain plug is screwed on properly and the filter is in place.

Place a funnel and fill the engine of oil 5*30 or 5*40 special FAP.

About 4.5L of oil

Check during filling that the level exceeds the l of the gauge and remains below the F
-
Take out the dipstick, wipe it, put it back in and then check the level. (Flat vehicle)

Correct oil level, close the filler cap.

Place a piece of cardboard under the car and run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature, then turn it off.

Check that there are no leaks under the engine or stains on the cardboard
-
Check the level again using your gauge.
-
Replace the engine cover and you're done.

Hello, this tutorial is very well done. I have 2 questions:
- the manufacturer recommends for this MZR CD2.2 engine oil meeting the ACEA C1 special FAP standard, and OSCARO does not sell any to date. Can the ACEA C2 special FAP oil, linked as a consumable in the tutorial, safely replace the original oil?
- how to turn off the DPF light which remains on to indicate that the oil needs to be changed? - and preferably without the diagnostic socket.
