Introduction

Draining and replacing the oil filter Peugeot 208 1.2 VTI petrol engine

  1. Raise the vehicle using the jack and secure it on stands

  2. Place a tray under the drain plug and unscrew it with an 8 mm Allen key. Let the oil drain until it drips.

    • Put the vehicle back on the ground, then check the oil level again.

  6. To reset the dashboard maintenance indicator, press the "1000" button and turn on the ignition.
    • To reset the dashboard maintenance indicator, press the "1000" button and turn on the ignition.

    • Wait for the 10s countdown to end, by holding down the "1000" button on the dashboard.

    • At the end of the countdown, release the "1000" button.

Can we use ACEA C3?

Because I have a can but PSA recommends ACEA C2

However, ACEA C3 seems to me to be a better oil.

Hello the gap between these two standards is real but insignificant. So you can use it, although PSA (or a purist) would tell you otherwise.
