The equivalent of the original filter is KNECHT (or MAHLE, it's the same company).

The reference on the original BMW filter is 11427807177 and also on the BMW filter OX 361/4 Made in Austria which is actually the KNECHT / MAHLE reference, also Made in Austria.

The proof in pictures:

Attention for the reassembly of the new filter, it is advisable to fit it fully into the upper screw cover, the centering lug will place itself in the hole at the bottom of the housing when screwing the cover. At first, I proceeded by placing the new filter in the housing: I had many adventures during reassembly and finally I had to buy another filter. Nickel by first placing it fully in the cover

we don't let it run for 1 minute, just 2 seconds for the oil pressure light to go out.

We try to have the key adapted to the bell, and not these universal tools which damage everything.

The original brand on Mercedes and BMW is MANN and this brand is essential. Moreover, the Mann oil filter is supplied with a drain gasket.

The frequency is 30,000 but that's heresy. Long life oil or not. Besides, it's 2 years or 30,000 in the first term. 20,000 if used intensively. Frankly, you have to do it every 15,000 max. Especially with the famous N47 and its papier-mâché chain.

Quantity of oil to be refilled unknown?

No leak check (tightening of oil filter bell and tightening of oil drain screw) when starting the engine at the end of the intervention?

The maximum level is 5.2L and if we put 5L we are at 8/10
