Introduction

Here's how to access and replace the air filter on your Citroën Nemo 1.3L HDI 75CV

The ideal tool is a 7mm hex socket, a ratchet wrench and a small extension. Failing that, a 7mm flat wrench and possibly a Phillips screwdriver will do the trick.

Open Nemo's hood by pulling the control to the left of the clutch pedal towards you.

Pass your hand under the hood at the logo level, you have to move a yellow control to the left which unlocks the total opening. Push the hood upwards, it will be held by a self-locking system.

The air filter housing is closed by means of 4 7mm hexagonal socket head screws. These should be unscrewed using the tools indicated above.

Tip 1 : as for the wheel screws, first loosen each of the screws, then finish unscrewing them

Remove the air filter from its location

Compare the dimensions between the old and the new air filter

    • Clean the impurities present in the air box with a blower

    • Replace the new air filter in its location, making sure that the filter is properly inserted.

Close the filter housing: first wedge the 4 locations at the bottom, then screw the 4 screws at the front
