Warning!!! Do not attempt to change your windshield wipers when they are in the rest position because when you lift the wiper arm, it will hit the bonnet and you risk damaging the paint on the bonnet of your vehicle!
-
In addition, the space between the wiper thus raised and the windshield being reduced, you would damage the wiper itself, or worse, the wiper arm!
-
-
-
Press the switch on the left of the steering wheel to start the windshield wipers.
-
When the wipers reach the vertical position, that is to say when they have swept the windshield and before they make the return journey, switch off the ignition!
-
-
-
The wipers are now in the intermediate position (halfway) and stopped.
-
Then raise the wiper arm.
-
-
-
Turn the wiper 90 degrees counterclockwise (to the left).
-
Then pull the wiper to release it from its axis.
-
-
-
Proceed in exactly the opposite direction to install the new wiper by inserting the wiper onto its axle and then rotating it 90 degrees to the right.
-
The procedure is the same for the second wiper.
-
-
-
Push the wiper arm back so that it comes back into contact with the windshield.
-
Turn the ignition key to the first position so that the wipers return to their rest position.
-
Here you are with brand new windshield wipers! Thanks Oscaro!
