Introduction
When the cylinders are HS, the trunk no longer stays open. They must therefore be replaced.

Compare new cylinders with old ones (dimensions, attachment)

Remove the staples using a flathead screwdriver.

Leverage to undo the staple

Clean old grease from cylinder fasteners before reassembly

Grease the fasteners

Reassembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.
