In your trunk you have a module for its lighting, to dismantle it you will simply need a small flat screwdriver or the plastic removal pack.
-
For my part, I change my lighting with a simple bulb (yellow lighting) by a led bulb (white lighting) .
-
For this tutorial you will need a single 42mm Navette bulb.
-
-
-
To change your bulb you will simply need to unclip the lighting module from your trunk using a small flat screwdriver while leveraging towards you.
-
For your safety, I advise you to disconnect the connector from your module by simply pinching on each side then pulling towards you, but the trunk is quite dark so the photo is not very distinct.
-
-
-
You now have access to your bulb, you simply have to remove it by pulling towards you then replace it by respecting the meaning of the old one.
-
You can now reconnect the module by clipping the cable into it, and then check the operation of the bulb.
-
If it doesn't work, please unplug the module by pinching the cable while pulling towards you and then reverse the direction of the bulb so that the positive and negative terminals are the other way around.

Your trunk light bulb in your Volkswagen GOLF VII has now been changed, if you have any questions, I will answer you in the comments.
