Remove the accessory belt tensioner pulley to access one of the three housing screws.

Unclip the housing retaining clips.

Unscrew the 4 screws from the second part of the support then remove it

Access to the timing belts is possible

Align the shafts so as to insert the pins into each of the camshaft pulleys.

Loosen the tensioner using la clé de 13

Release the first timing belt

Remove by unscrewing the three remaining screws from the protective cover under the radiator

Placer un bac to recover the coolant then open the drain tap by hand.

To facilitate drainage, remove the expansion tank cap.

Remove the upper screw from the timing case half.

Loosen the water pump screws that also hold the crankcase half.

Remove the half casing

Position the seal on the water pump.

Place the water pump with the half casing on the engine.

Replacing the tensioner roller

Ensure that the tensioner guide is correctly positioned.

Compare the correspondence of the new rollers with the old rollers (diameter and length).

Engage the belt on the left pulley then on the right pulley

Position the belt so that the upper strand is taut.
-
Align the belt with la poulie without overflowing.

Take up the slack in the lower strand of the belt by lifting the tensioner

insert the fixing screw.

With une clé Allen de 6 , turn the tensioner to the left until the cleat matches the lug, then tighten the screw

Compare timing belt fitment (shape and tooth spacing).
-
Adjust the pinion du vilebrequin to the mark.
-
Position the belt starting from the crankshaft sprocket towards the camshaft and finishing with the tensioner (keep the right strand of the belt taut)
-

Using a 6 mm Allen key, turn the tensioner to the right until the cleat aligns with the lug.
-
Remove the camshaft pins, manually turn the engine several times then readjust the tension of the 2 belts if necessary.
-
Proceed to reassemble the covers and supports.
-
Fill and bleed the cooling circuit.
-

Hello, after changing the distribution kit, it is impossible to tension the belt, the tensioner roller turns on itself without the tensioner arrow moving, I don't understand.
