Changing the tail lights on a Nissan Qashqai

Open the rear trunk

Remove the screw in the tailgate trim hatch

Remove the tailgate trim, pull gently towards you to unclip everything

Unscrew and remove the 2 screws (on the side) holding the rear light

Remove and unscrew the third screw

Remove the connector by unclipping it towards you

Remove the tail lights

Compare old and new tail light

Reposition the new light in its location

Reconnect the connector

Tighten the 3 screws holding the lights

Refit the tailgate trim

Reposition the trim by inserting all the clips

Screw the screw back into the trim hatch

Test if your tail light is working properly
