To begin, remove the hubcap if you have one by grabbing it and pulling firmly toward you with both hands.

Using the cross wrench (or other tool) loosen the bolts counterclockwise without removing them.

Raise the vehicle using a jack at the location provided for this purpose.

Place the vehicle on jack stands for added safety.

Place the candle at a hard point on the vehicle. Under the cradle for example (as in the photos).

We finally have access to the stabilizer bar which is held in place by two 16mm nuts.

Using a 16mm wrench (or a ratchet wrench with a 16mm socket) unscrew the two nuts.

For the top nut, you need to use the 16 flat wrench and an Allen key (or the ratchet wrench and a hexagonal head bit) to lock the screw thread and thus be able to extract the nut. (photo 3)

Perform a visual check of the parts to ensure they match properly before fitting the new part.

Proceed in the same way as for disassembly. (see step 7)

Complete tightening using the torque wrench to the tightening torque prescribed by the manufacturer.

Reverse the operation. Refer to the tutorial information from step 5 to step 1.

Replace the wheel in its location.

Replace the bolts, hand tightening them.

Raise the vehicle using the jack at the location provided for this purpose.

Remove the candle.

Lower the vehicle.

Remove the jack and tighten the wheel bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque using the torque wrench.

Tightening torque for Renault Clio 3 phase 2: 10.5 daN.m or 105 Nm
