Place the jack in the intended location and put the candle in place.

Disassemble the wheel

Use a small ratchet with a #5 torx bit and a 16 offset wrench

Unhook the brake hose

release the shock absorber leg by unscrewing the 18 screw.

Using a mallet and a wooden block, tap the pivot. Rotate backwards to spread the spindle and remove the shock absorber.

Remove the fixing clips

Remove the seal

Use a 16 socket
-

Use a 13 socket
-
set up the 3 spring compressors
-
Use an 18 socket, then finish unscrewing with an 18 socket wrench and ratchet with torx tip

Shock absorber stop HS
-
Recover the dust cover and change it if necessary.

Old shock absorber on the left and the new one on the right. The right shock absorber was HS and no longer played its role. The decompression was no longer happening.

Reverse operation, put the new shock absorber back in place, dust sleeve, stop. Be sure to respect the alignment (red and green arrow). Tightening torque of the nut 6.2 daN.m

The key allows you to properly align and replace the 3 nuts (in yellow)

Replace all the dismantled trim and plastic parts, stabilizer bar nut and shock absorber strut screw.

After changing the shock absorbers, it is necessary to redo the geometry of the car.
