Introduction

In this tutorial, you will see how to change the rear manual window mechanism of your Fiat Grande punto 1.3 MJTD DPF 16V S&S 75 hp at a lower cost using the parts and tools available on oscaro.com.

Note that the window regulators have a direction, the right rear door is shown here, the procedure is however the same for the left rear door.

  7. Insert the new mechanism to position the threads in their locations then approach the 4 nuts without tightening them. Position the glass so that the pin seen previously enters the hole located at the base of the tile. Replace the plastic pin by pressing firmly on it to lock the tile in position. Tighten all nuts and test the window using the handle. It is not necessary to insert the pin.
