Changing the rear light bulbs on a Renault Clio 3

To check if your vehicle is compatible with this tutorial:

Clio 3 Phase 1 : (2006 2007)

Clio 3 Phase 2 : (2009 - 2012)

This tutorial is only for Clio 3 Phase 2 whose year is between 2009 and 2012.

To unscrew your lighthouse you will absolutely need a size 20 TORX screwdriver.

You will have 3 screws to unscrew completely (they are surrounded by a red circle in the photo)

Once the 3 screws are removed you will need to remove the clips present on the headlight.

To do this, you will have to gently force it by pulling towards you (do not break the clips, by gently forcing the headlight will come off).

The headlight is now removed, you will need to remove 4 clips which are located behind the plate (they can be identified by the red circle in the photo).

Pull towards you at the same time to unclip them as you go.

Red Arrow: Feu stop / position.

White/Grey Arrow: Reverse.

Yellow/Orange Arrow: Flashing

To remove a light bulb press it lightly and then turn it in one direction.

To replace the bulb, put the bulb back in the same place, respecting the direction, then press it and turn it at the same time.

You will need to clip the plate in the correct direction, respecting the holes.

You will need to put the clips present on the headlight in the holes provided for clipping them.

Then press hard enough on your headlight to make sure it is properly clipped.

Replace the 3 screws on the headlight using your TORX screwdriver size 20

Don't aim too hard so as not to damage the plastic.
