Hello, thank you very much

Hi

After draining, a message “maintenance due” is always displayed despite having reset in MMI.

Thank you for answering me

Hello everyone ,

I changed the engine oil on this model, to check and adjust the oil level using the MMI the oil level was at 90%, once I got home. I wanted to check the oil level again and I noticed that the oil level had dropped to 40%. I wonder if it's not a sensor that's playing up. Thank you for your answers

Hello; on the latest A4 B8 models (2015 for example) the system is not the same. The filter cartridge is supplied with two seals. The large diameter seal will fit around the bell; but where do you put the small seal? (AUDI A4 B8 2015 model).

My bell does not have a visible rod in step 4 of this tutorial. The inside of the body that receives the filter has a guide with a spring inside. The filter fits into this guide. Then we screw it in.

Thank you for your help.

reference filter HU 7020 z (at Mann filter for example)

I did my oil change for my Audi A4 16 v 140 horsepower from 2007 I referred to the original maintenance booklet which recommends 3.8 liters and if changing the oil filter 4 L and it is indeed a 32 key that is needed to loosen the oil filter cap here I wanted to bring these details for people who have an Audi A4 16v of 140 at home to specify also would not be too much the oil filter cap it is useless it is very difficult to remove afterwards if too tight

Yes, it is exactly 5 liters of oil that you need.

muco4558 - Reply

The manual says 5 liters of oil and not 4 liters or 4.6 liters.

jeannot84000 - Reply

Hello, I think you need 5 liters of oil. As for the initialization procedure, it does not remove the alert message. I don't know why. Thanks anyway.

Good morning,

The oil quantity for the 2L TDI 143HP A4 B8 block is 4.6L

Oil index: 5W30 CASTROL Premium Synthetic ESP

Sincerely

Good morning,

I think it would have been nice to add the amount of oil: 4L

and the index: 5W40 Type long life or ESP.

A few more details, it would have been better to open the filler cap first, to use a 32 socket and not a 30, to suck the remaining oil in the filter holder, to oil the new seals, to put them in place using a small screwdriver by rotating it (the big one) around the bell and to avoid it getting pinched when tightening, the cap seal cannot be changed, it's true it's the cap with its seal that is changed at each oil change. Avoid tightening too hard when the screw reaches the stop, give 2 small blows with the ratchet and that's more than enough. Same for the blister when it reaches the stop, 1 small blow is enough

Thanks anyway to whoever took the time to share and make this tutorial

Good luck to all

I noticed that with a 32 socket, the filter bell gets damaged. Is there another way like using a claw wrench? Thank you

funk80200 -
