  3. As you can see the cables are numbered. Each number corresponds to the cylinder, cylinder 1 being on the distribution side.

  4. Place your car on ramps so that you have enough room to drive underneath. It is better to do it cable by cable rather than removing everything at once. Remove a cable from the coil side by pulling on it by hand.

    • Unclip the cable from the rail then pull on it to raise the part you removed on the coil side.

    • Remove the spark plug cable.

  5. Choose one of the 4 new cables whose length is closest to the one you just removed. Using the blank, note on the head of the cable the number of the cylinder to which it corresponds.

    • The cables that were fitted to my vehicle were marked and the cable number did not match the one on its head. Answer at step 7.

  7. Continue replacing your remaining cables. On the reel you will find numbers corresponding to the cylinder to which the cable should be connected. My coil is a BOUGICORD reference 155 010.

    • top left cylinder #2, top right cylinder #4, bottom left cylinder #3, bottom right cylinder #1.

    • The numbers noted on the heads of the cables that I dismantled did not correspond to the cylinders but to the assembly order. Indeed, the mechanic who installed them certainly dismantled everything at once then connected the cables to the spark plugs then noted the assembly order on the head. Reason why we could read 1;2;3;4

  8. I noted the heads according to the cylinder and not according to the assembly order. We can therefore read 2;4;3;1 which corresponds to the numbers noted on the coil.
