Changing the headlight bulbs and indicators on a Mercedes Sprinter Benne

We are going to change the bulbs on a Mercedes Sprinter 516CDI dumper version.

Orange: Flashing

Purple: Low beam headlights

Green: High beam

Blue: Side lights (pilot light)

Changing the bulbs is done by opening the hood of the vehicle and accessing the hatch located behind the headlight.

When handling the ampoules, preferably use gloves.

The bulbs are located at the plastic cover.

Remove the round plastic cover by unscrewing it to unclip it from its housing.

We are going to remove the high beam bulb.

Place your hand in the housing where the bulbs are located and then pull hard on the support that holds the bulb while looking at the headlight to be sure to remove the correct bulb from the housing.

When you have removed the bulb from the housing, gently pull on it to remove it from the connector then put the new bulb in place.

Replace the support that holds the bulb in its housing, respecting its direction.

We are going to remove the low beam bulb.

Place your hand in the housing where the bulbs are located and then pull hard on the support that holds the bulb while looking at the headlight to be sure to remove the correct bulb from the housing.

When you have removed the bulb from the housing, gently pull on it to remove it from the connector then put the new bulb in place.

Replace the support that holds the bulb in its housing, respecting its direction.

We are going to remove the parking light bulb (side light).

Place your hand in the housing where the bulbs are located and then pull hard on the support that holds the bulb while looking at the headlight to be sure to remove the correct bulb from the housing.

When you have removed the bulb from the housing, gently pull on it to remove it from the connector then put the new bulb in place.

Replace the support that holds the bulb in its housing, respecting its direction.

We are going to remove the turn signal bulb.

Place your hand in the housing where the bulbs are located and then rotate (in the unscrewing direction) the support which holds the bulb while looking at the headlight in order to be sure to remove the correct bulb from the housing.

When you have removed the bulb from the housing, carefully rotate it (in the unscrewing direction) to remove it from the connector, then put the new bulb in place.

Replace the support that holds the bulb in its housing, respecting its direction.
