Introduction

This tutorial is made on a Citroën DS4 2.0 hdi 163

  1. 
Open the hood using the driver's side control

Unlock the hood by lifting the lever on the right of the logo then lock with the lever

Remove the engine cover by pulling it upwards.
    • Remove the engine cover by pulling it upwards.

Locate the filter. Disconnect the cable (framed in green) and the fuel supply and outlet (framed in red). You must use a flat screwdriver to lever the connectors to unlock them.

Remove the 4 T30 torx screws (in red)
    • Remove the 4 T30 torx screws (in red)

    • Remove the bleeder screw with a Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the filter + filter holder assembly. It is difficult to remove (the seal sticks the assembly). You can use a screwdriver to lever around the filter holder to help.

Compare the old filter to the new one.
    • Compare the old filter to the new one.

Replace the green O-ring with the one provided.
    • Replace the green O-ring with the one provided.

    • Replace the new filter

  9. 
Replace the 4 torx screws.
    • Replace the 4 torx screws.

    • Reconnect the fuel hoses then lock them and the electrical connector.

    • Pump with the bulb until fuel comes out of the bleeder screw.

    • Replace the bleed screw.

    • Pump until the bulb becomes hard.

  10. 
Reinstall the engine cover
    • Reinstall the engine cover
