Changing the fuel filter on Peugeot 607

Remove the 4 screws using a socket wrench

Lift the 2 plastic covers

Disconnect the green connector by lifting the tab and pulling the connector to the right

Disconnect the 3 hoses

Press the green or white rings and pull at the same time

Unscrew the crown at the top of the filter.

Use the "Adjustable Filter Wrench" tool around the crown if this is not possible by hand

Make sure that no impurities enter the filter tank (you can protect it with a clean, lint-free cloth)

Remove the seal using a screwdriver

Compare the gasket and filter with the new parts (the gasket is supplied with the filter)

Replace the new seal

To rest le filtre neuf

Insert the filter into the block then tighten the crown by hand

Reconnect the 3 hoses

Reconnect the green connector

Turn the key to the ignition, wait a few seconds for the pump to prime the circuit, then start.
