Locate the fuel filter

Unscrew the bleed screw on the filter bowl to empty it

Place a basin under the car

Place a basin under the car, a drain pipe connected to the tank allows you to guide the fuel

Unlock the pipe by pressing the clips using a flat screwdriver

Pull the pipe to release it

With the help of a pawl, of a extension and a 22 socket, loosen the tank cover, gently about 1/4 turn

Remove the cover

Place a cloth in the tank to clean the bottom of various impurities

-
Compare the dimensions of the new gasket with the old one
-
Clean the tank cover with brake cleaner and a cloth
-
-
-
Apply a drizzle of oil to the tank seal to facilitate tightening of the cover.

Replace the new filter in the tank, respecting its position by guiding the key
-
-
-
Place the lid back on the tank with the smaller hose connection towards the radiator
-
Keep the cover pressed on the spring then turn about 1/4 turn until it stops.

Tighten the tank bleed screw

Press the ignition several times to activate the fuel pump and fill the filter, then start the engine and let it run for a minute before setting off.
