Introduction

As it is used, your fuel filter becomes loaded with impurities, reducing the engine's power.

Its replacement is an easy operation, requiring little material and time.

  1.
To begin, open the hood. If your vehicle has one, you can remove the engine cover, this will make things easier. To do this, simply pull on it.

Locate the fuel filter.

And note or photograph the color code present on the filter and cables.

Some vehicles have a plug that detects the presence of water in the filter. Located on the side, don't forget to unplug it. Fuel may leak, have a basin ready!
